I Ran My Human Design Chart, Now What?

“How do I work with the chart?” This is a question I receive often from people after they run the chart or have a reading. It all boils down to “now what?” In this post, I’ll give an example of how to put parts of the chart together to interpret what’s happening for you.

Take, for example, Marie (a hypothetical person) who has this chart: Generator/Alchemist, open G center, line 3 profile (Martyr/Explorer)*, and Gate 15 (Gate of Extremes) activated. She feels wishy-washy, always bouncing from one thing to another, rearranging her house, changing where she works, changing up personal expression (hair, style, hobbies)…you get the picture.

She feels like she doesn’t quite fit in because of this definition and gets frustrated with herself when she can’t be consistent with routines.

Now, our jobs/careers and society at large sees someone seemingly bouncing from one thing to another and labels them a certain way. Wishy-washy, not consistent, etc, and she’s taken it in to mean that she isn’t good enough. What is missed is that someone who has a chart like this is learning through experience (line 3), feel into their environments to know whether it’s the right one for them (open G/Identity center) and goes with the flow of the energy (gate 15). It’s a powerful combination! This is someone who is exploring what works and bringing all of that knowledge and experience to others.

When we can pull back and look at the bigger picture of what the chart is showing us, we then start to work with the energies of the chart. Marie may feel validated by seeing this definition, and become softer and more compassionate with herself, recognizing that instead of being a negative, these traits are actually superpowers.

Every one of you has something in the chart that points to your superpowers. You may not recognize them as Marie didn’t at first, but once you start working with the chart, you’ll be able to change your self talk from negative to positive.
