Human Design Leadership Qualities By Types
When exploring leadership qualities in the Human Design chart, bringing it back to basics starts with the Types. Every Type has a specific energetic leadership strength that you can embrace and grow in any type of position. So, instead of thinking “I’m an Alchemist (Generator) and I’m supposed to do the work others tell me to do”, reframe into “My chart is an Alchemist (Generator) chart and I have a specific quality that I can leverage as a leader.” See how different that is?
Plugging Human Design into the Current Astrology
You’ve probably been hearing about the year of the Neptune, Saturn and Uranus are changing signs or have already changed signs. It’s a big deal astrologically because these are planets furthest from earth they move more slowly through signs and in astrology are big energies that shape generations. The big movements:
Neptune is moved into Aries on March 30th, 2025,
Saturn moved into Aries on May 24th, 2025 and has bounced in and out until February 13, 2026,
Uranus will move into Gemini on April 25th, 2026.
So, what does that mean?
Human Design Strategy
In Human Design, using a specific strategy to help with decision-making is a significant component. Strategies are linked to each archetype, and I'll organize this blog by type; however, I like looking at them more holistically. I'm not interested in making people feel boxed into one type; instead, I look at the chart as a guide. Not everything will resonate, and that's okay. When I talk about strategy, it means making big decisions in life like career, relationships, buying a house, etc. It's about applying decision-making in the most efficient way possible that works for you.
Human Design Archetypes
The basic premise of Human Design is that we embody five energetic archetypes. You'll fall into one of these five, depending on your birth data, and the type is the first place to start working with your chart.
If you take to searching the interwebs about Human Design, you’ll see other sites talking about the "roles" each type is here to play, but I don't like looking at it in that way as I don’t enjoy being boxed in to a label, do you?
